This may be offending but its just an example:

Why do you think girls usually hang out with guys who like other guys? ( I dont think I need to say the name)

Nah, no offence, at least you didn't offend me. Smile I think the people on this forum are mature enough to say the name without getting silly about it? Smile OK, I may be wrong but I'm going to risk it anyway Smile . . .

You reckon girls prefer to hang out with gay guys?

TBH I hadn't noticed that - I'm straight and a fair few females seem to enjoy my company. Smile

They like it b/c they don't have to worry about the guys coming onto them. They can be just friends without worrying about it being complicated by more-than-friends feelings.

Well actually, like to be perfectly honest my best guyfriend is gay, his name is Jacob. The reason we're friends is cause we like the same things, like he goes shopping with me all the time and can tell me honest opinions. HAHA. Idk, thats just my personal thing. And my boyfriend will do that too, but other guys wont unless their like.... idk, Gay? AHAA. Anyways, theres my short rant on my gay friend, Jacob. He's amazing though. We slow danced at the middle school dance because since Bryan is in highschool he's not allowed to go.... HMPH!

Hehe, at least until some enterprising young straight guy fakes the whole gay image thing so that he can get close to some girls Very Happy . . .

I used to know a couple of lads at college who were straight but had all the staff thinking they were lovers: they could even do the mannerisms and that voice thing that some gay guys do (I don't know what it's called) LOL Smile

Of course, being serious for a moment Smile and referring back to Kain's comment that I quoted above: It may be true that that is the reason some girls feel comfortable with gay male friends, but for that to work properly it would also require human sexuality to be as easily pidgeon-holeable as we like to think it is, when in reality it's far from being that black and white:

There are gay guys who were married to women and even had kids with them etc, and then there's the fact that usually nobody is 100% gay or straight, even if they kid themselves that they are due to having issues or being uncomfortable with sexuality: As I've probably mentioned a fair few of my friends are bodybuilders, and despite the fact that they would be shocked if anyone thought they were gay, there will be some aspects of male beauty that the most straight guy admires, and vice versa, and then you get times when for years people didn't fully realise they were gay and so on.

My sister once told one of her boyfriends that I was gay for a laugh, and word got around, and half the time I couldn't be bothered to correct people when they still thought I was gay, because I get some laughs out of it sometimes, LOL.

So, girls with *does quote thing with fingers* "gay" friends - watch out, they may not be as gay as you think Wink
