Hey guys! Just wondering what you think the best kind of heelys would be for me. I saw some nurses wearing them in a hospital where I work, and I thought... "Wow, what a good idea." 'Cause like, I dunno if you've ever been to a hospital before (haha, of course you have, you're skaters! =D) but there's A LOT of long hallways, and heelys would save so much time....
I don't have amazing balance or anything, but I could learn. Are they hard to balance on? Are there kinds where the wheels are retractable, or do you have to actually take them out of the shoe? (Yeah, I'm a total noob to this) Is it hard to just walk normal in them? I push a lot of wheel chairs around, and it would probably be hard to roll and push at the same time... Are the shoes comfortable?
I don't need anything fast, just something that's comfortable to wear for several hours, and perferably easy to balance in.
Any suggestions? Thank you! |

if you want balance... i would suggest something with megas.....like glitz, but the mega wheels wouldnt make it much more comfortable, and megas are fast.....idk, if you could learn howto balance, maybe some slides, and yeah you have to actually take the whole wheel out of ur shoe and itll take a little bit of tie to get the hang of it, so dont worry if u dont get it at first

| You could get some Rebel style heelys. They have two wheels in a line. But they're not the easiest for walking. |

| Shawn, they work in a hospital. I doubt they really want to be grinding. |

Are you kidding? Some of those bed rails would make for some pretty sick grinds.

Hmm. A wheelchair might not be easy. Depends where the handles are. On the other hand, shopping carts are the generally accepted way to learn |

LOL, oh my goodness, that made me laugh really hard. Can't you just picture a nurse grinding the railings on her way to radiology?
So right now mega wheels seem to be the thing people think are easiest to balance in? Can you just walk with the wheels in it too? |

LOL i can see it now!! Meags are the biggest wheels for heelys. And yea you can walk ing them. I have a pair of torch with megas and REALLY easy to balance on. I taught my cousin to heely on megas and he got it in like an hour so it should be no problem! |

| Okay, so are Octanes or Escapes very different from the Torches, besides the grind plates? Is one usually cheaper than the other? |
