Okay, you've got one that just won't open. Doesn't matter what you do. You pinch the ends and twist, no go. You stick a couple of quarters in there, no go. Maybe you even tear the quarter (yes, tear the edges off the metal, if you've ever seen a stripped nut you know what I mean) itself.
You will need:
A drawer at about waist height
Two (yes, two) Heelys Plug Removers
Take one of the plug removers and place it into the drawer so that the tip is poking out. Now, position your axle on the plug remover so that it is on the tip, as a screwdriver. Lean against the drawer, HARD. Push the wheel into the tip sticking out, HARD. Now take the other plug remover and use it as a screwdriver, putting as much torque as you can into the axle.
This is how I opened one that wouldn't come open any other way. |

I'd take a similarly-angled pic of myself using the other plug remover for a screwdriver, but it's not really necessary and I don't have three hands. |
