It was recently told that HSL, the company that makes Heelys, will be having a video competition. Because I'm sure many of you would like to take part in that, perhaps even more so than the HeelyChat competition, an idea was proposed to switch the due date to that of the HSL competition. Thoughts anyone?

I'm voting no because some people wont be releasing videos until the vid comp and i kinda miss vids from those people and with the hsl vid comp people are going to get lazy and just use the same video for both......not too much fun Sad

and if it was in july and i got my report card by then i'd be grounded....

Ive heard absolutely nothing. Everyone else knew before I did though, heck, most people on here knew before i did.

I'm not 100% sure but I think they are going to post the rules and stuff later next week on the website. So what you learn here is not concrete.

There are going to be 2 categories - AM and Pro. I don't exactly know where the lines will fall (for people who are sponsored).

People will post videos to youtube and HSL will link it to their site. Everyone is welcome to join with lots of prizes going to the winners!

I'm not 100% sure .. but rumor has it that the top prize for AM will be featuring him/her on the website. Talk about MAAAJOR bragging rights. What a great time to be an AM!!

I think it will be cool to have a video comp where HSL sponsors .. and also prizes are involved. That's why I think we should move the date.

Anyhow .. that's what I've heard.

I am in agreement with Seth on this one. For the HSL video, I will most likely be pulling a lot of old video for my stuff vs the HCVC I would have to have some fresh stuff (or pull stuff from the Forgotten Freshness)

You also have to review on some of the newbies (including myself) has never participated in a HCVC, and if every posts their top TOP best of the best from 4 years ago videos, its gonna seem kinda bunk.

Also, how many people do you think will have some videos for this? There's got to be at least a thousand people coming up from the wood works to show off their skills. The HSLVC isn't as intimate as the HCVC.
