| < Picture & Video ~ Does it Cost Money to upload videos off my phone? |

I don't have a vid-cam but I do have a video camera on my phone which I can record decent qualtiy videos off of. The only thing I want to know is if it costs anything to upload videos on to youtube.  |

It depends...
Depends on how you're uploading them. If you're sending them right from your phone to YouTube, then it's VERY likely that your cell phone company will charge you for that, depending on how you're doing it and what you're already paying for. The most common way to do that is by MMS, which would cost me about a buck, maybe two, to send. But, since I pay for internet access on my phone, I can use my e-mail program to attach a file and send it that way at no cost.
Your best bet, if you're not sure, is to try to get the vid off your phone to your PC. Most phones have a way to do that. Hopefully yours doesn't require a cable or software that costs extra.  |

I take the video, send it in a video message to my email, download it to my computer, then upload via my computer.  |

Not to burst your bubble, but in MOST cases, "unlimited text messages" refers only to TEXT messages, not MMS (multimedia messages). You can have unlimited text and still get dinged for sending pics and vids, because those aren't the same thing, even if you're using the same "program" on your phone to do it.
Just saying, you should either make sure you don't pay extra for sending pics/vids, or don't be surprised when your bill is higher than usual. |

| yeahh. i have verizon, so we have unlimited text, picture, and video messaging. picture messages are like 20 cents a piece, so video messages are prolly like 75 cents to a buck a piece. call your phone company. they'll tell you. |
