is it just me or are the rumble wheels a lot smoother with those lines on them as well. I think they roll very well

I think the rumbles have a smoother ride than regular megas... and they don't squeak when you turn.

My rumbles are the heelys i've been wearing ever since I got them. They make weird snow footprints tho.

I have a couple of questions because these may be my next pair.

Are they much heavier than regular sneaker-type heelys?
Does the wheel really shred up easily as you said, or were you saying that it LOOKS like it would shred up easily?
Who let the dogs out?
Where is Carmen Sandiego?
On top of that...where's Waldo?

Thanks for answering...

Nah. At least, not for my size 11s. They feel pretty much the same weight as my Escapes.

I've noticed a couple small nicks in my Rumble wheels, but nothing major, and I've been heeling all over with them, just like my Escapes. Only time will truly tell. Maybe Slicer will chime in and describe how his Rumble wheels have stood up to his use.

Rumbles eat pebbles worse than regular Megas. The grooves can help trap a pebble between them, and because the Rumble surface is slightly harder, it grooves easier (the softer Megas usually just push inward).

However, the grooves make them easier to control on surfaces that might be slippery.

I haven't had the chance to take them vert. Someone else want to be the guinea pig? (Wheek!)

I'm not so experienced with vert, but I did use them on vert a while back in my Torches. They worked ok. I didn't get as high up on the ramp as I did with regular megas. All I did with them was drop in.

Hehe, barely. =P

Been going through a lot of personal stress crap along with random health problems like crazy.

I started going to a chiropractor. Heeling may have cause me some back problems. =/ It's nothing permanent though. I asked her if I could eventually build up the strength to heel without damage and she said yeah but it's still not good. I figure I'll just stop wearing them with wheels in for extended periods of time. Like at work, I really don't need to have the wheels in...I'm not rolling anyways.

It's also been wet here from rain and melting snow for over a month and the few days it's not wet, everything is covered in salt. x_x I don't even carry my wheels with me anymore.

Not done with heeling though! I'll be back into it more heavily when it gets more dry and warm.

By the way, what's up with Heelys International? Did you get sponsored?

You forgot Team AMN! Smile
But yeah, they're just for fun. Not "real" in the sense of sponsored by anyone, or officially sanctioned by any business or organization.
