Just say the "grind" video. I've never seen anyone pull off a footy grind before. *Props*

unless you have an uberamazing street skater like coop or buffo, vert will always look cooler than street. its just how things go.

Watch for it.

Now I wanna ask > do you differentiate street from flat?? I myself would consider 'street' to mean : fast moving non-stop action using the terrain surrounding you. While I would think that 'flat' is going to be more of an artistic use of balance and acrobatics on a flat surface. I don't think alot of people see a difference BUT it may just be me and my uber-brain going gnutz again.

Yes - you're right Deez.

Flat is more commonly referred to as "Tech" in the other skate disciplines.

Tech is a confined execution of tricks without apparatus.

Street, more accurately, is using street apparatus such as curbs, stairs, rails, etc.

Heelers use flatland as to mean tech. But many people have confused "flatland" with "street" - In actuality, they are different.

Sweet. Didn't know if there was actually a difference in heeling. Those are the terms I'm use to (flat/street/vert) coming from the BMX world and the principles seem to be about the same.

Yeah .. in the skateboarding world its Street/Vert/Tech -
But in all honestly, I'm not sure which Heeling should/could/would follow.

Point is "tech/flatland" is different from "street"

It all depends on what content are in the videos that label themselves as street or vert or tech or power or speed or jump or whatever. We're pioneering a new genre of skating. We're making the definitions up as we go. First one to give something a name - wins! And if it fits, the name will stick.

Wanna race? (that's a metaphor)

(check out my new Mega Verts I made yesterday)

I love how heeling is totally new. It's probably part of why I'm so interested.

You're megaverts are AWESOME! Were they tough to make? I'm really going to need to be making a pair within the next week because my last 2 megas are getting bubbles on the sides.
