And absolutely.... think about it like a poster of your favorite pro athlete on yer wall..... Ive been wanting to make some cool posters for my garage..... these are EXACTLY the kind of pictures I would use.....
Great job Merlyn.... keep it up! It's great to have more of this stuff in the community! This is what we need to keep the spirit alive...
Just as a photography tip.... my wife works on alot of my photo work, and shes worked in a dark room before. That first one with the huge shadow is a GREAT action shot, but the shadowing pulls the eye away from the picture...
2 tips about photography:
a) unless doing some specific for an effect, dont center the photography.... its called the Rule of Thirds... (sumthin like that)...
b) if anything in the picture is "distracting to the eye" then its taking away from the focus of the photo.... ie Merlyn in this picture!
She had some great advice to detract a bit from that photo if you ever wanted to beef it up a bit.... if of course this is done on film, not on a dig'...
Her advice was that, if you make a cutout of yourself (the shape) and place it over your body, you can over develope the photo and brighten up the shadowing a bit.
Anyways, like I said, GREAT PICTURES!!..... keep up the awesome work! |
