My Heely-buying has been a bit OTT lately, in case you hadn't noticed, and when recently I had to cancel my Personal Trainer due to lack of funds (despite the fact that I love weight training) I realised I may have gone a bit TOO far LOL.
But then this came in the post . .

That's like $40,000 US! LOL! - maybe the answer to my prayers eh? . . .
Just kidding - I'm obsessed but not so obsessed that I'd sell my soul for more Heelys - at least I don't think so? LOL
Can you imagine the Repayments on that bad-boy? |

on a 72 month loan for $22,000 and 6.4% interest I am paying 289 a month...
on a 15 year loan for $15,000 at 11% interest I am paying 180 a month...
on a 60 month for $40,000 to spend on Heelys...

Hehe, yeah.
That's a real big reputable UK bank rather than a loan shark, so I wouldn't have to run in fear of losing my kneecaps per se (as Jessie from Full House would say ), but I'd be in court for a long while probably |

Try to be obsessed with the SKATING .. not the owning.
Its odd .. in the time I've been skating, I've never obsessed about the styles that much. Yeah, I have my preferences ..
But 99% of the time I'm thinking about the next trick. Not the next pair.

Same here. I dont want each pair or that I just want a pair of the best ones. Id rather learn new tricks than get new heelys (Unless my ones are no good anymore) |

same here. I don't care about all these rare styles that ppl (seth lol) scramble around for. If I have a pair of heelys with a well for megavertz and a grind plate, all I'm thinking about is landing tricks at the skate park. I'm not much of a collector. |

Oh yeah, I think I'm obsessed about the skating too - I mean I've not done too badly to learn the tricks I have in the time I have, or maybe it's nothing special? But I know I tried damned hard so usually that's enough for me, even if I'm not very good yet. 
It just seems to take me a long time (in terms of hours of practise put in) to learn a trick sometimes, and in between getting that thrill from managing a new trick for the first time, I've always consoled myself for not getting it by buying new Heelys. LOL.
Like lately it feels like I've been trying to learn Footy's and trying to 180 better on my right (not so good for heeling) foot for ages. . . and not making much progress, but yeah, good advice, I s'pose I'll get there eventually.
And yeah, I guess I do like to experiment with the diff styles *guilty as charged*  |

In defense of the buying of shoes, everyone here knows how hard larger sizes is to find...
Well, ME is a common size, but whatever lol
When it comes down to me, I have 3 pairs of Evos, one pair hasn't been touched yet. I also have my Rails that I practice for new grinds and my GTs for street so the Mega/Plate can be saved for strict vert.
So that $40,000 wouldn't go to DIFFERENT shoes, they would go to the same shoe 400 times so I would never run out  |

Honestly though, I'm not much for collecting but to try out every pair and see the difference if i dont like em, bam i give emm away. the only pairs ive gotten for collecting have been rocket and impact. i know each pair is different weither it be wheel placement or just overall how comfortable the shoe is, heck the wheel even makes a difference i know for sure my footy spins come out better on big deuces. and i like 688 wheels better the 608. but it was all through buying the different models i have now. I highly doubt buying 3 different pairs of common atomics counts as "scrambling" for rare shoes, kain specially when i easily went into TSA and bought 3 pairs of toxics for comfort and didnt have to "scramble" to get them from other people or pay 250$ for them. |

nvm, I had a talk with some ppl, and apparently there's nothing different about toxics than the insoles 
so the highest I'll go is $100 |

i got kinda upsessed for a while about toxics but it slowed down
i like styles and i will get them if their cheap but i mainly focus on the sk8ting but thats pretty easy 4 me consitering the 1/2 pipe in the back yard |
