ok well...as most of us know...heelys gear isnt too good for vert...so im trying to find some better gear... any recomondations? so far ive found these, all i have to spend is about 20 bucks..so yeah

i need some that are pretty comfortable and run in somewhat big sizes (knee pads never fit me too good) |

| dont get either of those. just save your money. you can get really good pro tec kneepads for 30 bucks and they save you from scratches and impact |

they comfy?? and i need some like...now...it takes me a WHILE to get my money saved up and my EMM found an ondoor skatepark that we might be able to use durring winter and fall
and im chosing between a variety i found in a local sports store, no way am i buying online...1 oputs 4 gear brands actualyl have knee pads that will fit me
im going to the mall around 12-ish tomarrow, and those are the only 2 to choose from....as long as they keep me from seriously hurting my self im fine with em |

| yeah there comfy. just find 10 bucks somewhere. i used to have ones like in the second picture...they did zero for impact and they protected from scratches 50% of the time..all the other times they slid of the side of my knee and i got all cut up..so yeah those pads are pretty much pointless |

well, im looking for a whole set of gear, i just need some that comes with knee pads thatll actually fit...im more focused on elbow pads....if i hurt my elbow again im screwed....i can still heel if i did...but my parents would never let me heel again...
if i could get some advice from someone who currently uses the second one thatd be good |

Actually, I happen to currently use the second one. lol
I got them from Dick's Sporting Goods. I'd say they work well. I'm not too experienced but, they are comfortable. The only thing that isnt is the knee pads after an hour or so but that's just because my knees are big. I dunno what else you'd be looking for in pads...but if you have other questions, I can answer. |

yeah one question, how do they strap on in the back, do u think u could get a picture of em? and what exactly are the materials made out of...sorry for all the ?'s..but my parents said these are gonna have to last me a long time |

I've just noticed the elastic on my knee pads getting stringy but that's probably cause they just fit around my knee. They attach by velcro. I'm not sure what they are made out of. Here are pics:
