I've discovered an anomaly with the wheels on two pairs of my Heelys. I got my Pros when they first came out, and I guess I was too excited to look at the wheels. I just put them in and practiced. I got air bubbles in one of the wheels, so I took both wheels out to look at them. I noticed one wheel was actually smaller than the other one. There was 1 large mega wheel and 1 medium mega wheel. Both were supposed to be large mega wheels. I thought this was a strange but isolated event, so I let it go.

A few months passed, and I got some used Toxics from eBay. Again, I was too thrilled to check the wheels. About a week or so ago, I got air bubbles in one of the wheels; I took them out to compare them and noticed one wheel was, indeed, smaller than the other. I doubt the previous owner would intentionally buy 2 differently sized wheels. Both the medium wheels got air bubbles - one in the right shoe on the Pros and the other in the left on the Toxics. Since this happened a second time, I thought I’d ask you guys about it. Has anyone else come across this?

I've never had it with NEW out of the box heelys, but had it with a couple of second-hand pairs (previous owners probably mixed up their wheels)... Suprised that you got it with NEW Pro's... someone at the factory musta been having a nap that day - or someone at the shop it came from was playing a prank? Surprised

But yeah, in 40 odd pairs it's only happened to me once, so I'd say you just had a little bad luck is all. Don't let it get you down, in fact it could even be a bonus:

I find it interesting to try all the different kinds and sizes of wheels, so if/when you eventually get more pairs, you may find it useful to have the different sizes. Smile

For example, my US 6 Megawatts take SMALL mega's as standard, and fit me fine, my US 7 or 8 Torches take Medium, and my US 9 Ninja take Large mega (and all fit fine due to the different tightness of the original shoe etc). Smile

Whoa, they used to replace Air Bubbled Megas? (at one time or another). Because if so, that would have been pimp shit...

If not, they should incorporate it into their current Sales Model, at least until they start passing out Mega-Vertz as an optional replacement
