I shouldn't have to say it but obviously this post is aimed at people who drive cars (which will mostly be the older people) Smile

Does anyone find driving a car for long distances whilst wearing Mega wheeled Heelys can become uncomfortable? I mean with wheels in OR with wheels out? Even with the wheels out I sometimes find the big heel makes my leg ache from my foot being at a weird angle: I like to rest my left foot flat on the floor when on the motorway (no need to use clutch/change gears etc) - but with the height of mega heels it feels awkward.

Maybe it's just me or the shape of my car's foot well? Or has anyone else noticed this? I mean I can walk for miles with mega wheels in, but driving in them just makes me feel, i dunno, uncomfortable. Sad

If I don't find a solution I might have to wear NON wheeled shoes *shock* *horror* for driving! Surprised

Yeah, I didn't become aware of the way it was making my foot feel until I did a 3 hour trip to Gatwick Airport in London, but now I know what it feels like it's like I feel it all the time, even on the 10 minute trip to work.

I drove to Vertigo and the HCG, both times with wheels in.

Heeling hurts a bit after I get out of the car, and maybe there was a bit of mild irritation at first, but it doesn't affect me any.

Note that these are LONG drives.

I haven't had any problem driving with megas in or out. Then again, I don't try to put my feet flat on the floor when I'm driving regardless of what shoes I'm wearing.

I've never had a problem! I usually take the wheels out, but not always! I prefer to drive long distances barefoot anyway, so unless it's really cold, then I stash my shoes under the seat anyway.

I always ride on my brakes. The most akward thing is when I shift, sometimes my wheel will catch on the mat and my foot slides off the clutch. But other then the minor Heelys-Don't-Breathe-Worth-Shit annoyance, I don't have an issue driving with them on...
