A great site for a bunch of apps for mac. I've had a lot of issues with the site Seth posted on my OS 10.4.8 for conversion.

which is why I said pure-mac -shrugs-

Anyways, if you get one, let me know, I can hook you up with some bangin software from the entire Adobe Creative Suite 3 to Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac
(which, yes I know is still in BETA, but I do testing for mac, so I get a copy, then one copy for another computer, and I AppleTalk my 2 macs, so they share the same programs)

lol, it can be a little hairy, depending on where I make my films and what I use, so I'll list them as follows

If I use my Windows side, I'll make a *.wmv, then import it to my Mac side, using a product called BURN which will convert to an *.avi OR I'll import it to Toast to rip it to a DVD, which automatically converts it to a VIDEO_TS folder, then I can take that, use Mac the Ripper and save it as an *.avi file

OR

If I use my Apple side, I'll take the *.avi file and just burn it using Toast, unless I'm using my Premier or FinalCut, then pending on where I need it, I can save it pretty much as any file, in which then I can import on my Windows machine. If you're looking to upload on YouTube, or many other video hosting sites, *.avi files still work

The only part that costs money throughout the whole ordeal if you take the above method would be Toast, which is about an $80 program, unless you trust pirate sites (NOT RECOMMENDED). Mac the Ripper is a FreeWare program used to save VIDEO_TS files, and BURN can ajust those to a lot of movie formats.

You can try the site that seth posted as well, I'm just saying I've never had any luck with it.

Another thing you can do is depending on what chip set your Mac has, you can get whats known as Apple Boot Camp and run dual Operating Systems on your Mac, after buying Windows and making a partition, you can just use Movie Maker

-shrugs- Thats how I do it lol
