Alright ive lived with my grandparents all my life in oklahoma. My dad lives in kansas and my mom lives in florida. My sister lives with my mom and my mom had 5 adopted children. Ive always hated my mom for all the shit shes done so i decided it was time to talk to her and maybe i would feel better about it all. So i call her and i was about to bring it up and she says shes adopted yet another kid. Im pretty confused on what to do right now so i want to know what you would do. Question

Feel lucky you have your grandparents, stay with them, and bring anything up to your mom when you're *ready* to do that, probably after you're 18.

sounds like ur mom just loves kids..u wanna have a good relationship with ur mom..if not it u will it make u an angry child and one day will go apeshit and will take it out on someone else and nobody wants that..talk it out with your mom

tell your mom when she thinks about adopting another kid tell her you wnat to live there. Shocked

Maybe just ask why she wants to adopt so many kids and if you could go with her.

Hey HP,

There's a lot going on that you may not understand with your parents. And in times like these, its probably best for you to spend more time with people who care about you, like good friends or your grandparents.

Your mom is probably emotionally disturbed. I can't say for sure because I haven't met her. But your situation is not uncommon from a lot of broken families.

I'm sorry for your situation. When I'm bummed out (and I am sometimes), I skate. It helps a lot to see that your fate is ultimately in your own hands. Yeah skating and talking can help a lot.

Its hard to grow up without good parental influences. In many ways, people with parents take them for granted. To make sure you grow up right (and it IS still your responsibility), surround yourself with good people. Its easy to go astray.
