These guys are trying to destroy all of Myspace with this. While I don't disagree with them in principle, I'd be an asshole if I didn't warn HCers of it.
Use Firefox, check address bar, etc.

1. A few random MySpaces were manually injected with a clear gif that redirected people to a phishing page.
2. Their friends will go, click the page, and be at a phishing page.
3. When we get their data, we add phishing stuff to THEIR page, and all their friends get phished.
4. This clearly keeps growing. Say everyone has 100 friends, and 50 of them get phished. Then, those 50 have 100 friends, 50 of whom are phished. It goes from 50 to 2500. The numbers are growing, what we need to do is keep the pages injected. Now, since doing this manually is time consuming, we devised a simple way. All you have to do is sit there, enter a captcha (one is required for a MySpace page to be changed) and the rest is done automatically behind the scenes. We need Anonymous to just sit and keep on doing it over and over and over. All the passes are verified, everything is scripted, we just need humans to enter captchas over and over. Fuck captcha. WE CAN WIN THIS, IF WE KEEP IT UP
Unfortunately, I don't have a link to the page. Get a link someone. |
