The more you gimp .. the more your impulse is to gimp when things go wrong.
Gimping at high speeds result in guaranteed splats.
When you unlearn gimping - you have to learn to get to your knees with your chest back - this is the right way to bail. |

For me, gimping at lower speeds can make me splat, also. I've learned not to do it. |

Yeah, break the habit early if you can. I don't like to come down on people for it. But especially sponsored skaters. We bring people on because they have potential. Gimping kills their potential.
