I still want to know why there aren't more options in wheel choice (color/compound/size). I've been thinking of venturing into the polypro chem set and molding custom wheels my self. Harder coumpounds for more speed/less wear, softer compounds for serious traction and softer ride. Makes sense to me!! And colors.... come on > peeples like choices!!!

Lo has about worn down his brake side heel and is really digging the GTs but he's gonna have to do alot of household chores before that happens.

Also... I've seen the 'toeys' photochop > funny stuff!!! But it got me thinking > why not wheels in the arches?? There's more room there due to the natural profile of a foot and the name is already ineviteable.... ARCHIES!!! Hahaha. (jk on that peeps)

I also know a few peeps that would buy HEELYS if they were in big boy sizes. I'm fortunate to have small feet that I can fit into 9s, but my bro-in-law is a 13 min. Kinda sucks for him!! Oh well though.

I think that curved grindplates(Torches) are easier to stay on the rail, but harder to land on the rail and flat grindplates(Grind This) are harder to stay on the rail but easier to land on the rail but I'm no expert. So...should i get Toxic Torches or Grind This for easier grinding?

ANOTHER THING!!!

Why is the heel compund not harder?!?!? You'd think since you can use the heel to stop/control, it should last a bit longer than the rest of the sole. When I use to flatland BMX, I was addicted to buying DYNO shoes (like VANS) with 'scratch pads' made of harder rubber that would withstand the constant foot>tire contact. I'd go through a set of normal VANS in about 2 months but could wear DYNOs (and yes, it was the same company as the GT/DYNO legacy) for 6-8months no prob!! Than the duct-tape came out till the paper route money added up to $35 for a new set.

I think it isn't too much to ask for harder heels, is it?? If not... I'mma have to buy stock in HEELYS so at least I get some return on the multi sets I buy for the groms!!!!

Have you seen Shredders or Predators? Those heels were extremely hard, but they also weighed in at about three or four pounds PER SHOE. With the advancements being made in tricks and such, heavy shoes aren't going to be too popular among the extreme trickster communities.

That's just my opinion though.

actually i have grails which are flatter then GT's and seeing as the grails dont have lock on feature (the top sides so you can grind down the middle instead of all over the plate) and grails were actually easier to land on and they were faster too. But the GT's DO have the lock on feature. they look like express plates juest lower to the ground and with a different design. Since you havent had megas i REALLY suggest to get torches.
