hey guys i was wondertng if anyone new what these wheels are for i know what megaverts are for but the others idk.
and how do you make them they look realy fun to make and cuz im getting some heelys that hav large megas so i can make megaverts

The wheels you mentioned are basically about harder compounds which are better for vert. . . for example, if you have the same bearings in megaverts as in normal mega's, you'll notice you roll slightly farther/faster. This is because the wheel being less squishy means you don't get slowed like your bike would if it had flat tires.
The freespins are like megaverts but have two halves to them, so that one half of the wheel can be going backwards whilst the other is going forwards. The idea being it gives more manoeuvrability, for making things like footy 360s easier etc.
Some details on making your own megavertz can be found in merlyn's thread but it isn't easy unless you're skilled.
The ultimate wheels are kinda just my version of freespins, detailed here. Basically they can be megaverts or freespins and they take my preferred 608 bearings. |
