For some reason on a few sites that supply large fats they say they fit "All Style #'s EXCEPT the Reflex 9113/9114" - I've found this to be complete nonsense as all the large fats I've bought fit my Reflex's, and even small mega's (which are larger).
Wonder why these sites claim that their FATs do not fit reflexes when they do?
It doesn't half make it hard to learn about the different types and styles of heelys and wheels when there's so much misinformation out there.
I guess it could be the fault of HSL themselves, because another gripe that I have about misinformation is how it's claimed the reflex has ""Mega Wheels" - when in fact it has FATs. This little white lie about mega's is even printed on the tag which comes with the shoes!
You'd think HSL would know the diff between Mega's and FATs, or at least make sure the company that manufactures their stuff gets it right on the tags. |

LOL, Yeah, could be
I tell ya why not, because it makes me mad, and they don't wanna see me when I'm mad. . . they'd have to lay off staff if I stopped buying heelys for a week!
That's why not
But no, seriously, it's misinforming the customers: if someone buys a set of (say) large reflexes and some spare large mega wheels, they're gonna have to return the mega's when they don't fit, and that could cost them (and the shops) time and money. |

You make me mad. You've been heeling for 8 weeks and you have like, 8 pairs. I have been heeling since 9 'o clock on november 6th, 2007. And I have 2 pairs. |

LOL, that's because I went a bit crazy about heelys and at the time I had the money to blow. . . But now I've calmed down, so you'll have time to catch up with me now if you work hard and buy lots of heelys with the wages eh?
How's that? |

Well, I just spent $500 dollars on a laptop that I've been saving for a year... and then Ima blow 30 on The Orange Box (HalfLife rules) and then I'm gonna buy all the sz 8/9/10 heelys I can get my hands on. And, I'm gonna persuade my mom to get me torches for back to school. |

| One thing i've learned from using heelys for 4 years is never believe anything on the heelys website or any of its information. That was usually because teh site was sooooo outdated. My reflexes tag says"Fats PU Wheel formulation" Maybe its just for the larger sizes because like you showed in your other thread, your small megas fit in your sz 9 reflex, my reflexes are sz 8 so no size megas would fit in there. |

They are Mega wheels... Just smaller Mega wheels...
I know HSL printed that out, but here's the thing:
People have been hearing the hype about Megas and how much more stability you can get
HSL thought "We should make another shoe with Mega wheels"
HSL looked at their inventory and said "Shit, we have a lot of Fat wheels"
Someone good with math (who, looking at recent stock prices, does NOT work for their marketing department) said "Small Megas equal Large Fats"
The same HSL employee with a foul mouth stated "Well I'll be damned... Lets start selling"
Then the HSL employee who typically serves Starbucks to the rest of the bigwigs said "Hey, lets say they have Megas" (this employee was soon promoted to CEO of the company a few months later... I think his name is Don Carroll)
Either that, or HSL was originally going to deploy the Reflex with Mega wheels, and then decided against it last minute and some got sent out with the Tags stating they had Megas...
I like my story better though n_n lol
BTW, as a side note, I am not trying to offend anyone who works for HSL... I just have a messed up thought process |

what doesnt make sense in your first story is how small shoes and medium shoes play in there because sure smallmegas=large but no size megas = small or medium fats, unless im understanding what you said wrong. The second one could be possible seing as there were some boxes of torch 9117 that came with a sticker to cover that the color originally planned for that number was black/charcoal/blue unless taht was a typo or a mistake. |
