Hey, I just got my first Pair of Heelys about a week ago and was wondering if anyone els had problems walking with the wheels in. I feel like im wearing high heels or something. Is there a trick to walking in them or do i just need to get used to it.

Just get used to it, really, but there are a few things to remember.

It's actually worse than that. You can no longer rely on your heel to provide friction, so you can't use the heel-toe method of normal walking. Realize that your heel is no longer a suitable walking surface and start focusing on your toes, especially if you also have grind plates. Eventually, you will learn to run, even sprint, without bringing your heels into it at all before you transfer your weight to them and start rolling.
It's going to look and feel awkward for a while, but enough use and you'll wonder how you ever lived in ordinary shoes. |

It must look akward because ill be walking through school when there are teachers around and everyone looks at me like im stupid or something. Also i sound like ROBO Cop when i walk. It feels weid walking in them and my calf muscle starts to get sore after awhile.

I felt the same way when I first got them. At first I thought I would fall over or trip, but eventually I got used to them. Just give them some time, and eventually they'll feel okay.

yea, i have been walking out of school and stepped on some gravel and just about did the splits. its horrible. Also ive been walking down the hell at school and someone will step on the back of my shoe which puts my wheel down first and it will just roll out from under me.
